Far-field wireless power harvesting for inaccessible area wireless monitoring

What is it about?

This paper discusses wireless harvesting/charging long distances from the wireless power source. It discusses the design and implementation. Such a solution has application in industrial areas where power cable-based charging is not feasible for battery-operated monitoring.

Why is it important?

Most of the wireless charging solutions available in the market are for near-field charging, i.e., the charging device is very close to a power source in the cm range.In our work, we are providing wireless charging in the meter range.
