Reliability of CMIP5 models in simulation and projection of rainfall over global monsoon regions

What is it about?

Explaining a new methodology for selecting reliable climate models among the state-of-art CMIP5 global simulations for the regional monsoon systems. The selected models used for future projections of rainfall in all monsoon regions.

Why is it important?

The methodology included multi-source observations to check the reliability of models. It also incorporates different statistical tests to select those models. Here we propose a methodology and defined some criteria to select the reliable models. The future projections can be used for planning and pro-active measurements over the regions.
