Psychopharmacological medication use in Frontotemporal dementia

What is it about?

Frontotemporal dementia is a challenging disease to diagnose, with patients often presenting with psychiatric symptoms. We report a high prevalence of psychiatric medication use in Frontotemporal dementia patients before diagnosis.

Why is it important?

There are no approved treatments for frontotemporal dementia. Thus, we need more information on the symptomatic treatment habits and medication use in these patients from real world clinical datasets.
