Proton stimulation therapy on Alzheimer disease

What is it about?

Magnetite nanocrystals co-exist in amyloid plaque, resulting in redox toxicity. We use proton transmission beam to induce stimulated emission of electrons from magnetite to remove plaque and toxic magnetite. We have achieved therapeutic effects of innovative proton stimulation on Alzheimer disease mouse by reduction of Amyloid plaque and neuroinflammation, resulting in memory improvement.

Why is it important?

Proton stimulation is non-invasive and non-pharmacological treatment of Alzheimer disease safely. It opens new window of therapeutic innovation by simple low-dose proton transmission beam without damaging normal brain tissue. It can reduce neuroinflammation and followed by blocking tau pathology, and restoration of neurogenesis consequently.
