What is it about?

The aim of our study was to investigate the clinical effect and safety of the ultrasound-guided paravertebral nerve block for PKP in patients undergoing OVCF. Ultrasound - guided thoracic paravertebral block achieved more effective analgesia in comparison to local infiltration groups in patients undergoing percutaneous kyphoplasty.

Why is it important?

There was still none of no studies to date evaluating ultrasound-guided thoracic paravertebral block effect on the PKP.
