What is it about?

Community-based studio art courses address systemic change in rural America by collaborating in art-making with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Why is it important?

Many rural communities lack or are deficient in social services. By bringing universities courses into their communities, we can address these inadequacies and provide students with real-world experience and leadership skills.
