Improving Measurement in Outpatient Community Behavioral Health

What is it about?

Behavioral health organizations are expected to use measurement for lots of purposes, but deciding what measures to use can be overwhelming. We present a small set of measures, endorsed by the National Council of Mental Wellbeing, that community behavioral health organizations can use for multiple purposes such as clinical care, quality improvement, accountability, and payment.

This paper presents a small set of measures that can meet organizations' multiple needs, making it faster and easier to get measurement done.
