What is it about?

The authors conducted a survey of behavioral health care providers to understand their attitudes toward and use of measurement-based care (MBC). They found that less than half of the providers used MBC with at least half of their patients, and the most influential barrier to use of MBC was low perceived clinical utility.

Why is it important?

Despite the robust evidence base for measurement-based care (MBC), this study found that the use of MBC is limited in real-world practice.
