What is it about?

Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) have a strong emphasis on supporting young people’s ‘personal recovery.’ In this study, young adults were asked about how they felt they had changed since beginning the program, and what they thought had made those changes happen. The authors found that improvement in mental health symptoms was an important change for many clients and that receiving therapy was most often mentioned as the reason for changes they had experienced. This study illustrates the value of obtaining client perspectives of growth as one aspect of patient-centered care.
