Measuring Antisocial Behaviors in Behavioral Variant Frontotemporal Dementia

What is it about?

bvFTD is a form of dementia characterized by antisocial behaviors, but there are no clinically validated measures to assess these behaviors in dementia patients. Analyses suggested separate factors for aggressive and nonaggressive behaviors. Preliminary findings provide support for a new informant-based questionnaire to measure the presence and severity of antisocial behavior in dementia patients.
