New updates to BioXTAS RAW, a data analysis program for small angle scattering data

What is it about?

Small angle scattering is used to learn about the shape and function of biological macromolecules like proteins, RNA, and DNA. Our program, BioXTAS RAW, makes it easy for researchers to analyze data they've collected, so that they can learn about their particular systems. In this paper we describe important new updates to RAW, include improved automation for analysis and new features for reconstructing structures of macromolecules.

Why is it important?

BioXTAS RAW provides an easy to use platform for researches to do most analysis they might want with their small angle scattering data. By providing a variety of basic and advanced analysis techniques in a single easy to use GUI, it makes it easy to obtain accurate results quickly and spend more time interpreting the data, rather than analyzing it.
