Variable binding to enzyme's active site

What is it about?

The paper shows that the enzyme NMNATase binds closely related small molecules in distinctly different orientations.

Why is it important?

We show that the product of another enzyme further downstream in the synthesis of dinucleotides can regulate the synthesis of NAD+ and how this is accomplished.
