Review of the book The Language Myth, by Vyvyan Evans

What is it about?

This is a critique of a book criticising the Chomskyan program. My argument is that the book does not go far enough in criticising not only the Chomskyan program, but the whole Structuralist view it is based on.

Why is it important?

It is time we moved away from the constraints on our understanding of the nature of language and communication placed on us by the Structuralist (including Chomskyan) approach.
