What is it about?

The people of the Kempo ethnic care much about the good social relationship. The use of euphemisms, besides the way they behave and the gestures during speaking, is regarded as a tool to avoid disrespect for one another during everyday interaction. Interestingly, the euphemisms, the polite language, are mostly in idioms.

Why is it important?

It is important because culturally the use of euphemisms expresses how important mutual respect one another to avoid a clash or feelings of disrespect. So, euphemisms, like those in other ethnicities, are a cultural expression of Kempo ethnicity handed down from the old generation from year to year.
