What is it about?

Four- to six-years old children have different ways of choosing their language in any domain. This study examines the Chinese-Indonesian children's language choice in various social domain. The important of this study is to highlight how and what language is choosen by the children in accordance with the social domains and interlocutors.

Why is it important?

We find the patterns of language choice by four- to six-year old children and factors which affect the children in chosing their language to various social domains and interlocutors.
