Increasing therapeutic alliance within speech and language therapy

What is it about?

This article highlights ways for SLPs and other rehabilitation providers to increase therapeutic alliance within their clinical practice. The benefits of strong therapeutic alliance are reported, as well as how therapeutic alliance is consistent with the rehabilitation treatment specification system.

Why is it important?

Often times research informs providers of interventions that are beneficial for patients.
