Improvements in the voice of singers after vocal exercises with tubes immersed in water
What is it about?
This study analyzed the effect of the technique with a silicone tube immersed in water on the voice of thirty adult singers. Improvements in voice and decreased sensation of effort to sing were observed after the exercises. This article shows, through instrumental measures, such results. It was possible to notice that the decrease in the sensation of vocal effort was more evident with the use of the tube phonation technique associated with vocalises than with the vocalises without the tubes.
Why is it important?
This study is important because it proves the effect of using tubes submerged in water as a potentiator of the effects of exercises with vocalise.
